Terms and Conditions
Before starting any work, we will provide you with information to include costings, services to be provided to you, payment terms and cancellation policies.
We assume that you have the authority to enter into any agreements with us on behalf of yourself, your child or your organisation. You will provide us with the information we require to offer you the most suitable service and quotation.
We agree to provide you with realistic expectations of achievable outcomes.
Where appropriate, you will be sent a quotation via email. The email will detail the costings for the services that we will provide. Work will not commence until the quotation has been accepted.
Payment is required at the time of booking our services. Payment is to be made by bank transfer or debit or credit card payments are also accepted. However, alternative payment methods can be arranged if required (for example, cash). Unfortunately, we are unable to accept cheques.
We reserve the right to charge interest on all overdue debts. The interest we charge is 8% plus Bank of England base rate.
Invoices are issued electronically and will be emailed to you. Our payment terms are upon receipt of invoice.
Any session that is cancelled by you less than 48 hours prior to the appointment will be charged at a 100% of the total cost payable. A full refund of 100% of the total amount paid in circumstances where we cancel an appointment.
VI. CHANGES TO SERVICES PROVIDED
You can change your mind at any point regarding the services you would like to receive. If you wish to cancel services, please see ‘Cancellations’ above. We will provide you with a quotation prior to working with you. If you change your mind regarding our input and services we provide, we may provide you with an updated or revised quotation.
VII. SHARING OF INFORMATION
With your written consent, we may share information with other relevant professionals to include; therapists, GP’s, education professionals and other health professionals. The sharing of information where required may assist in providing a support network.
We aim to be as transparent as possible with all our pricing. Our service charges are available upon request and will be detailed in any subsequent written quotation.
IX. DATA STORAGE
Paper information (eg. Handwritten notes), are stored in a locked cabinet. Reports and summaries are encrypted or password protected and stored on a computer or memory stick. We use Google Suite, to record and store electronic files and for email communication. Egress is used to encrypt emails with confidential reports attached. All information will be retained for 10 years or until the individual reaches the age of 25, whichever is the later. Paper records are shredded when no longer needed.
Our aim is to provide a professional, empathetic service to meet your requirements. However, we acknowledge that there may be occasions where a client is unhappy with the service that we have provided. We are able to deal with any complaints in person or by telephone in the first instance. If the complaint is not satisfactorily resolve, then it can be raised in writing or by email and will be reviewed and responded to within 7 days by our Director.
XII. PROFESSIONAL STANDARDS
Our services are carried out in accordance with the expected standards of a HCPC (Health and Care Professions) Practitioner Psychologist.
All our services are covered by insurance policies including Professional Indemnity Insurance and Public Liability Insurance.
